What makes it ours

Under one roof.

Profiles, hinges, sliding mechanisms and pivots are developed in-house. Every door is drawn, cut, machined, assembled and checked by the same team, in Győr, between Vienna and Budapest. Our showroom is in Neusiedl am See.

Own systems

Our own 3-axis sliding mechanism, pivot hardware and 3D hinges, developed with partners like Dr. Hahn.

Lab-proven silence

Sliding loft door over 40 dB, hinged doors around 39 dB at only 50 mm depth, Twin 61 at 45 dB and more.

03 · Material

Marine-grade, 50 % recycled

Extruded from marine-grade aluminium with 50 % recycled content: the share at which quality and strength stay uncompromised.

Milestones

Since 2021.

A young company with a long view: more light, less noise and lower carbon in the buildings we work on.

2021The beginning

XS-ALU is founded by Botond István Csősz, with an idea for slimmer aluminium systems, backed by three investors from the fenestration sector.

2022The first team

Two colleagues join, one of them dedicated to drafting and CAD drawings, and a fourth investor from the fenestration sector comes on board.

2022First tests and first warehouse

The first Modulusz systems go through testing, and our first warehouse opens in Nagykanizsa.

2023A team of six

Three more people join, and the team grows to six.

2023A bigger warehouse in Csorna

We move to a larger warehouse in Csorna, closer to our main office.

Our own extrusion dies reach fifty, and with them the range and the team start to grow.

2023Our own CNC machines

We buy our first CNC machines: Fenstek machining in our own workshop makes custom profiles and special projects possible.

2023Integration into LogiKal

We start bringing all our systems into LogiKal (Forterro), the software used by leading window and door makers.

2023Innovation award

Among the top 150 innovative brands of the MagyarBrands award. Radikal, our flush exterior system, was the development of the year.

2024Our own injection-moulded parts

We start producing our own plastic parts by injection moulding: hardware components, end caps and more.

2024A team of nine

Two colleagues join for pricing and quotations, and one for parts production and the warehouse.

2024Growing the system families

We start developing new systems in the Modulusz and Radikal families.

2025A team of ten

Ten people now work at XS-ALU, from our bases in Sopron and Győr.

2025BAU Munich exhibitor

We presented Modulusz at one of the world's most important architecture fairs.

2025More machines for exterior systems

We order our next CNC machine and rolling machines for thermally insulated exterior profiles.

2026New investor, new headquarters

A new investor joins XS-ALU, and our headquarters moves to Győr, where office, production and warehouse now come together.

2026Our first showroom in Austria

We start building our first showroom in Austria, in Neusiedl am See, between Vienna and Budapest.

20264-axis CNC and Secreto

We order a new 4-axis table CNC machine and start developing Secreto, our hidden door system.

Development & testing

Proven in the lab.

We tested at a higher sound pressure than the industry standard, in larger than standard door sizes. Our Modulusz products reach 30 to 45 dB; a standard door typically offers 20 to 30 dB.

Soundproofing

Accredited laboratory

Hinged doors, sliding doors and glass partitions were tested by a third-party NAH and CERTOP accredited laboratory. Special 3D movement mechanisms and silicone seals make the difference.

Finish

Qualicoat standard

Powder coating follows Qualicoat: firm adhesion, corrosion and UV resistance, and uniform colour along the whole profile.

German compatible

Every system is developed in-house and fully compatible with renowned German hardware, for durability, safety and a beautiful finish.

All XS-ALU systems are available in LogiKal by Orgadata (Forterro), from the first sketch to the production list.
