What personal data do we collect, and why do we collect it?

1. Contact forms, comments, media etc.

Regarding personal data provided to XS-ALU Building Systems Kft. (hereinafter referred to as “XS-ALU”).

Upon request of a non-binding offer or order for the purpose of processing the request, telephone contact, e-mail contact, consultation, tendering and planning the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the European Data Protection Act, as amended apply.

About the following data, which will be announced by you (as a customer) in the online form or in the continuing correspondence, and edited: title, title, first name, last name, street, house number, postcode, location, telephone number, e-mail address, contact form, promotion!

XS-ALU process these data until the implementation of the project, or order is in progress, or pre-contracted measures are required which consequently maintain a contract and beyond until legal claims can be asserted from a contractual relationship or statutory retention requirements exist.

2. Notes and other data

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.

Depending on if you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out from your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Editing or publishing an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

3.Analytics and sensitive data

XS-ALU does not process any protection-sensitive data!
For example origin, private opinions, political opinions, religious or ideological convictions, age, etc

When XS-ALU hire a processor to process personal data, such as bank info, credit card info; XS-ALU remains responsible for protecting your information. This type of processing always takes place on the basis of a contract.

4.Who we share your data with

As XS-ALU works in collaboration with a couple of different production companies, there is a great likelihood that a Customer will conduct business with more than one XS-ALU company.

It is important to us that we provide the best possible customer service and overall experience and we are able to ship the products you order. For this reason, we need to share the address and name data with production, shipping or logistic companies.

Regarding credit card payments made by the customer on our webshop, the personal data stored in the user account of XS-ALU in the user database of www.xs-alu.com – paying acceptance website, will be handed over to OTP Mobil Ltd. and is trusted as a data processor.

The data transferred by the data controller are the following: credit card info, name, order id-data – transmitted by the trader. The aim of this is to ensure that you can access the relevant information on time and that you are not contacted more often than is necessary regarding your order by XS-ALU.

XS-ALU does not share your personal data with third-parties who intend to use the data for marketing purposes if you have not given your consent to this.

XS-ALU may also not share your personal data with third parties for other purposes but only for the above listed.

The police and/or other authorities may demand the handover of personal information from XS-ALU. In these cases, we will only hand over the data if there is a court order or another legal obligation to do so.

5.How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators from XS-ALU can also see and edit that information.

6.What rights you have over your data

You have the right to obtain information about all your data sent to XS-ALU.

You may request the deletion of incorrect data or data that has not been processed in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
